Salt Lake Speech and Cognitive Therapy is a private clinic based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Catharine DeLong is the only speech pathologist in private practice in the state of Utah who holds both clinical certification and a doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She works with adults and teens living with acquired or progressive communication disorders, and ADHD.

Dr. DeLong is experienced in treating non-English speakers with family or caregivers as translators ensuring quality treatment for individuals of all backgrounds. 

Pricing
A primary evaluation is $250. The fee includes preparation, assessment scoring, and creating personalized therapy goals. Therapy visits are $100 (50 minutes). We currently do not accept insurance to reduce fees not associated with your care, but will gladly provide documentation for insurance reimbursement. Cash or check appreciated.

MEET THE Founder

Catharine C. DeLong, PhD, CCC-SLP

Dr. DeLong received her BA Philosophy and Chemistry from Mount Holyoke College in 2001.aShe completed an MS degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Utah in 2012 and PhD in 2018, also from the University of Utah. Catharine has been an acute care therapist for Intermountain HealthCare since 2017, and is an Assistant Professor (clinical) at the University of Utah in the Department of Communication DIsorders.
